Your family will go bananas over the prime location and exceptional vistas at Surf Monkey, a marvelous oceanfront vacation home in South Nags Head. For non-stop fun in the sun, guests can effortlessly transition from the pool to the beach using the private walkway with dunetop deck. Surf Monkey is packed with amenities that will keep everybody entertained throughout your stay, including a private pool, hot tub, and rec room. The pool can be heated certain times of the year, ideal for Spring and Fall getaways. With eight bedrooms and over 4,500 square feet of well-maintained living space, this oceanfront getaway is the ideal choice for extended families or multiple groups visiting together.

On the top level, an east-facing wall of sliding doors and upsized windows in the great room take full advantage of the expansive ocean vistas. The open-concept layout offers the sight lines and flow needed for huge families to comfortably gather and mingle. Everyone can pitch in with meal prep using the roomy and freshly refreshed kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a gas cooktop. There's even a second full-size refrigerator for storing additional groceries or the catch of the day. Outside, an broad oceanfront deck serves as an extension of the great room for effortless indoor/outdoor living. It's the ideal spot to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee, or simply take in the salt air and ocean breezes. For an even better view, climb the spiral staircase to the rooftop observation deck.

The primary bedroom is also located on the top level and includes an ensuite bath and private deck. All other bedrooms are located on the lower levels, three of which provide direct access to a covered deck with hot tub. Imagine taking a calming soak while listening to the sound of the waves before heading off to bed. There's also a rec room on the mid-level, where guests can shoot pool or savor a cold drink from the wet bar.

Conveniently located at Milepost 17, Surf Monkey provides the tranquility of the all-residential South Nags Head area while still being close to grocery stores, shopping and dining. Walk or bicycle to Sam & Omie's for brunch and their famed Bloody Marys, then head across the street to Jennette's Pier for some of the best fishing and surfing conditions on the East Coast. At dinnertime, take a short drive over to the causeway where you'll find legendary Outer Banks eateries including Sugar Creek, Tale of the Whale, and Lone Cedar.
