  • 8 Bedrooms
  • 10 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 4561 square feet

Look forward to spectacular ocean vistas and an unbeatable location when you reserve Sand Pebbles for your next Outer Banks vacation. This well-maintained oceanfront home is packed with amenities that will keep the entire family entertained throughout your stay, including a heated pool, hot tub, volleyball court, and game room with pool table. For non-stop fun in the sun, guests can conveniently transition from the pool to the beach using the private dune walk-over with outdoor shower. All eight bedrooms include ensuite baths for plenty of privacy.

With over 4,500 square feet of comfortably furnished living space, Sand Pebbles is ideal for extended families or multiple groups visiting together. Two full-size fridges can accommodate all your groceries along with the catch of the day! When you arrive, getting settled will be a breeze using the elevator to send suitcases and groceries to the upper levels. A reverse floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room take full advantage of the expansive ocean vistas. The open-concept layout can accommodate huge gatherings and encourages quality time spent with family and friends. The chef in your group will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen overlooking the great room, where they can still socialize and savor the view while preparing meals. With a dining table that seats twelve, a breakfast nook table for eight and bar seating at the kitchen for five more, everybody can sit down and dine together. Curl up with a book in the Crow's Nest, which also features a desk for remote work or school. In the evenings, the fun continues downstairs in the game room with billiard table, wet bar and access to the pool area for effortless indoor/outdoor living. Take a dip in the private pool (which can be heated certain times of the year) or soak in the hot tub while planning the next day's adventures with drinks in hand. A half bath on the ground level can be conveniently accessed from outside, and the wet bar is ideal for drinks and snacks by the pool or on the beach. Don't forget to set aside some time to host a volleyball tournament, right in your front yard!

Sand Pebbles is located in the Pebble Beach community, which maintains a walkway to the beach across from Forbes Street, only 350ft away from the home. This walkway is only 4-6 steps up and otherwise level, providing a more accessible way for guests with mobility challenges to get to the beach.

Located at Milepost 15.5 in Nags Head, Sand Pebbles is within a mile radius of a variety of shopping, dining and attractions. Walk or bicycle down the sidewalk along Virginia Dare Trail to Jennette's Pier for fishing, live animal exhibits and educational activities. On your way there, stop by Sam & Omie's for brunch and a Bloody Mary (a locals favorite). The ultimate retail therapy awaits you at the Nags Head Outlet Mall located right across Highway 158. Nearby family-friendly activities include go-carts, mini-golf, watersports on the sound and First Flight Adventure Park. Sand Pebbles is also the ideal location for attending festivals and events held throughout the year at the Outer Banks Event Site, less than a five min. walk away.

No family pets allowed - pet complimentary. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates and pool heat information, including details regarding the optional pool heat fee.

Strategies to get the perfect Nags Head rental experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Summer time is high season in Nags Head. To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, property management companies supply Nags Head area visitor guides which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the best rental home:

  • First, have your group decide on vacation dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Sand Pebbles: Oceanfront, Pool, Hot Tub, Rec Room has 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what is right for your group.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good ratings to stimulate more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
