The open floorplan top level of this home includes a huge bedroom with king bed and its own private deck and ensuite bath.

There is also half bath, and an open kitchen, living room, and dining area. The living room offers broad ocean vistas and a gas fireplace for cool fall and winter evenings (the fireplace is not available for use during the summer months). The kitchen also features tons of new dinnerware along with huge classic seafood pots.

If you need to work remotely during your stay, there is also a lofted area above the living room with a desk.

Please bring laundry and dishwashing detergent and paper products such as bath and facial tissue and paper towels.

Almost all new furnishings throughout the home including new bespoke living room furnishings featuring a sizable sectional for plenty of seating space. New bedroom furnishings throughout the home including new beds, pillows, and bed coverings.

Linen service is included so that clean crisp sheets await your arrival. Linen service includes sheets and pillowcases for all of the beds, a bath towel and wash cloth for each person in your group, hand towels and bath mats for all baths, and kitchen towels.
Please bring your own beach towels - or visit one of the many fun stores in the Outer Banks to pick up some new colorful beach towels!  Please also bring blow dryers and any personal care products you might need during your stay.  Once again, tons of places on the island to pick up any items you may have forgotten.

The dining room features two new dining room tables with new chairs and new dinnerware. New LVL floors throughout the home with the exception of tiled kitchen and baths.

What isn’t new with this home? The great private South Nags Head location and the fantastic ocean vistas! You can frequently see dolphins from the expansive windows in the living room!

Pool heat is available during your stay for an additional charge. Pool heat must be requested at least 2 days prior to your arrival to ensure it is on upon your arrival.

Keep connected with the wireless internet throughout the home. There are Roku Intelligent TVs in the living room, rec room, and most bedrooms. You can sign on to most streaming services and even access the cable service that you have in your own home if you have Spectrum, DirectTV, or one of the other supported services.

Strategies to get the perfect rental experience:

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Nags Head area. Booking in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Nags Head area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local tours and attractions.

How to select the best vacation rental in Nags Head:

  • To start, have your group decide on the best dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. New Listing! Summer Breeze - Oceanfront 8 BR OBX\/Nags Head home with Elevator! has 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before you book the vacation property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • Visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs applied to your invoice.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your stay, note any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the property manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of issues.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
