When to book & When to go:
- In the Nags Head area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Nags Head attractions and restaurants.
- Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses.
