" Gulls Just Wanna Have Fun"
Cozy Oceanfront Home, Great Vistas and just 35 ft. to the Beach !
We are a Sunday to Sunday rental which avoids all of the heavy traffic and long lines in the grocery stores on Saturday. The home has a keyless entry, you will be supplied with the code on check in day via text or Email, you won't have to stop by an office to check in and pick up a key.

The beach has a Lifeguard from 9 am to 6 pm throughout the summer season where you may feel more comfortable with modest kids.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi internet service, as well as flat screen TVs in every bedroom. There is a 55" Intelligent Television in the living room for Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Etc. Due to Direct TV going out frequently last year, I have switched to the best internet service available here, with much faster internet/ streaming capabilities. All of the TVs will now have Roku streaming sticks instead of Direct or Dish TV.

The home is located at milepost 17.3 in South Nags Head where it is a bit more calming and peaceful. Away from the hustle and bustle but still close to many marvelous eateries and retail stores. Also all types of outdoor activities, bicycle units, jet ski units, hang gliding and parasailing, golfing, Eco Tours and many others are as close as 2 miles away.

Bring your fishing poles !! We are located between Jeanette"s Pier and The Outer Banks Fishing Pier both of which are favored by the locals.
We are also located close to Roanoke Island, Home of the Famous Lost Colony (with its 83 yr running outdoor Drama Play) and The North Carolina Aquarium.

NO Bed Linens or Towels are included, You must bring your own.
( 2 king size beds and 2 queen size beds )
I can provide the names of Rental Companies for Guests interested in Renting Linens, Towels, Beach Chairs and Umbrellas/Canopies.

Beach Chairs and Umbrellas are NOT guaranteed to be at the Home, so you may want to bring your own or rent some from a Rental company. You can wait until you get to the home to check on the chair situation first though

Check Out is by 10:30 AM please, Check In is after 3:30 PM.
If the home is ready prior to 3:30 I will text you and let you know.

Tricks and tips to get the best vacation property experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Nags Head rental home:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in Nags Head. To book the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Nags Head attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Nags Head area visitors guides that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Make a plan and choose the bestvacation home:

  • Select vacation dates and budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, COZY OCEANFRONT HOME , STEPS FROM THE BEACH has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking pages. If not, email or call the property owner before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

More tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. message the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
