Welcome to SOCO by KEES Vacations!

Now available for 2026! Saturday check-in from 05/16/2026 to 09/05/2026

Reminiscent of a New England summer bungalow, SOCO in Nags Head is a stunningly handsome and unique vacation property. With dark wood floors, whitewashed walls, and exposed beam ceilings, you might feel like you have stepped back in time. But, make no mistake, you have not.

Constructed in 2015, SOCO has every modern luxury the discerning Outer Banks vacationer expects. An oceanfront deck leads over the dunes to the Outer Banks sand and aquamarine water. The pool deck is a spectacular entertainment complex. The focal point is the 22 x 28 heated pool with swim-up bar seating. Raise a glass to friends and family at the cabana bar. Savor the summer nighttime sky in the relaxing hot tub. An enclosed outside shower and gas grille complete this area.

You may not be able to tear yourself away from the amazing vistas in the broad great room. And, of course, you don't have to! A full wall of windows puts Mother Nature's masterpiece on display. Visible from every vantage point, this area is really the heart of the home. The kitchen is an absolute delight. Incredibly roomy with stainless steel appliances, it is ready for the chef in your group. Your group will spend many hours here appreciating the view and each other's company.

Venture down to the game room and theater room to appreciate more hours of fun-filled activities! This game room features a pool table, shuffleboard table, plenty of luxury seating including a two-person chaise lounge and bar stools, and a modest kitchen with full-size appliances. Queue up the latest summer blockbuster or comedy in the dedicated home theater features tiered seating for 11.

Even though you are just mins. from all the great shopping, eateries, and attractions of the Outer Banks at Milepost 16 in Nags Head, the seemingly never-ending amenities and games at SOCO may tempt you to just stay put.

There is something incredibly special about SOCO. You will feel it the moment you enter the door and as you close it behind you, you will be ready to come back.

Strategies to get the very best Nags Head vacation property experience:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Nags Head area visitor guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing the best vacation home in the Nags Head area:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. SOCO, Gorgeous 8 Bedroom Oceanfront Luxury Home has 8 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available online. If they are not listed, call the host before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • During arrival, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
