A bright and airy open-concept great room is located on the top level, featuring vaulted ceilings and reclaimed wood floors. The living area opens up onto a enormous sun deck where you can savor coastal breezes and a horizon view of the ocean. When you're not dining out, prepare meals in the coastal-inspired kitchen with granite countertops and island for plenty of prep space. The first primary suite is conveniently located right off the kitchen, along with a bunk bedroom and full hall bath. Three more bedrooms are located on the mid-level, including a second ensuite. The rec room is the ideal place for indoor entertainment with tiered, theater-style seating, a bar and a foosball table. Ginger Mermaid is dog-friendly, so even your four-legged family members can join you.

Located in the oceanside Gallery Row district of Nags Head, guests at Ginger Mermaid can walk or bicycle to a variety of Outer Banks favorites. Get your day started with a walk over to Front Porch Cafe for coffee and breakfast. Find one-of-a-kind treasures while exploring the galleries and stores of local artists such as the Glenn Eure Ghose Fleet Gallery, Seagreen Gallery and Jewelry by Gail. Nearby eateries include Red Drum Grille & Taphouse and Mahi Mahi's Island Grille. After dinner, head over to Booty Treats for ice cream. Be sure to check out Dowdy Park, just a mile south of Ginger Mermaid, which hosts seasonal farmers markets, yoga, movies and live music events.
