Welcome to Chickadee Cove at Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn by KEES Vacations!

The Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn by KEES Vacations is one of the last of its kind. Located on the Nags Head/Manteo Causeway, the Inn offers comfortable and well-appointed rooms and efficiencies overlooking the handsome Roanoke Sound. The historic inn first opened in 1968 and closed in September of 2011 after a bout with Hurricane Irene. Now open after an broad remodel, the Inn is ideal for anyone fishing the Outer Banks or surfing the Nags Head beaches.

Chickadee Cove Fin N' Feather Queen Regular room includes one Queen Bed, full bathroom, microwave, coffee maker, and a mini frig.

Chickadee Cove at Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $50, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
Some property management companies offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.

Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
