Tiny home living at its best! Our lovingly-restored and dog-friendly studio bungalow is all you need for you and your pup to savor OBX!

Bankers Cottage pays tribute to the Bankers Ponies that have made their home in the salt air, on the sand dunes and among the sea grass of The Outer Banks.

Wonderful location just steps from the beach, directly across from a public beach access and in between the iconic Jennette's Pier and Gary Oliver Fishing Piers. Bankers Cottage is centrally located in Nags Head close to many great local attractions including the delightfully modernized Jennette's Pier (one mile away), incredible eateries, grocery stores, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet Shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet, fine and casual dining and much more.

Property features include: dog-friendly accommodations, cable, WiFi, a well-supplied efficiency kitchen, flat screen TV, king size bed, complimentary off-street parking, outdoor charcoal grille, a beach cart, and an outdoor hose.

Linens are supplied by an independent vendor (bed linens, bath towels, washcloths, sheets). Bed will be made when you arrive!

No smoking allowed in the bungalow. There is a two-dog max., we do not allow cats, and we do not charge a pet fee.

You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
