This historic and completely refreshed bungalow is located on a peaceful street in South Nags Head and accepts dogs! Beach Blanket Bingo offers a great ocean view and takes you back to the Nags Head of the past. Totally remodeled for modern living, but decorated in a fun, 60's vibe for a blast from the past! It has been at its current location since 1960, a year before Nags Head was incorporated as a town, but is thought to have been a part of the Civilian Conservation Corps camp on the Outer Banks from the 1930's playing a role in FDR's New Deal, housing workers planting sea grass.
Owners purchased the bungalow in the spring of 2010 and have extensively modernized while maintaining its vintage appeal and character. All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
