Beds: 3 King (2 Masters), 2 Double Beds, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 12 Towel Sets supplied

TOP LEVEL:
With modern furnishings, the Great Room is a ideal area to relax and socialize with your family: modern furnishings, wood floors and enchanting vistas. Everyone can join in on the fun, whether watching the sizable flat-screen TV or preparing meals in the well-equipped Kitchen. Granite counters and tons of cabinet space (keeps groceries put away), and stainless steel appliances are the hallmark of this upgraded Kitchen space. The Kitchen Island seats 3 and the separate Dining area (seats 8) has "tee-rific" vistas to the west overlooking the 12th Fairway of the Nags Head Links Golf Course. Nearby is a half bath and the first of two King Master Suites is on this floor. Its Master Bath has double vanity sinks and a enormous tiled shower. Outside, the west sun deck will offer plenty of sun and pretty sunsets to watch too!

MID LEVEL:
The huge Game Room has both a Pool Table and a Shuffleboard Game (now's your chance to learn how to play!). A flat-screen TV will keep everybody entertained with a favorite movie or ball game. The King Jr. Master has a semi-private bathroom (shower/tub combo) which is shared with the game area. The second King Master Suite is also on this floor; the Master Bath has a stand-up shower. The covered deck is another place to relax, perhaps take a lazy summer afternoon nap, too.

GROUND LEVEL:
The family fun continues downstairs in a nice Parlor area that leads out to the private pool (10' x 22'). There's a second full-size refrigerator in the kitchenette. There are two more bedrooms on this level: a bedroom with two Double beds and a bedroom with 2 Bunk Bed sets for the kids. These rooms share a hall bath with a shower/tub combo. The laundry area is on this floor too.

EXTRAS:
As a guest of The Village at Nags Head, golfers in the family can make reservations to play on the 18-hole Nags Head Links golf course with sound vistas. There is access to complimentary parking at The Village of Nags Head private oceanfront beach access, about 1/2 mile away from this home. There is access to the Albemarle Sound with two piers and modest craft launches for kayaks or windsurfing. These soundfront parks are a nice spot for a picnic or to see handsome summer sunsets too!

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Nags Head rental home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer is high season in the Nags Head area. To find the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Nags Head restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Many property management companies supply Nags Head area visitor guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Tee-rific: Private Pool, Access to Free Oceanfront Parking has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Nags Head vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is usually available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before booking the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your home life. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
