Renovated 2023: new beds, furnishings & appliances! Peekaboo sound vistas for those charming OBX sunsets. Dog friendly. Seasonal community pool & boat ramp (modest additional fee), walk to sound and canals, bicycle or 4 min drive to Nags Head beaches. Equipped for a beach day; chairs, cooler, cart & body boards. Stocked with indoor & outdoor games including mini putting green. Loads of amenities close by; shopping & eateries. If you’re looking for a calming vacation, look no further!
The space
Serenity Sound has a huge ground level, with ample driveway parking. Under the home is a shady seating area to relax and play games, or relax under the Eddison lights in the evening. A designated laundry room with washer and dryer, an additional refrigerator, beach gear and bicycles is on this level. An outdoor shower with hot and cold water is great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. In the side yard, an outdoor charcoal grille is also available and a mini putting green for some family fun!

The main level offers an open concept family, dining and kitchen area. French doors offer access to the outdoor dining table under the covered deck, or for the sun lovers, follow the wrap-around deck to the front of the home for some comfort in the adirondacks there. The master bedroom has a humongous comfortable king bed and ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Bedroom two has a comfortable queen bed and bedroom 3, the bunk room, has a queen bed with twin XL over top. High thread count sheets and soft comfy towels included. All bedrooms and the living room have intelligent TVs with access to the spectrum app 60+ channels, and ceiling fans.

The property offers access to the Old Nag's Head Cove community facilities including a seasonal community pool and boat ramp (nominal additional fee) a modest private sound side beach access and volleyball courts. It's a fast bicycle or drive to the Nag's head beaches, and centrally located to everything the Outer Banks has to offer.

Wright Brothers National Memorial and Glazin' Go-Nuts are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Full Throttle Speedway and Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf. Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Nags Head. Book your rental home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
