Welcome to Pier Pressure at Sand Castle Village by KEES Vacations!

A calming setting overlooking the 12th green at the Nags Head Golf Links. Luxurious amenities like private pools and dedicated recreation rooms. Over 2300 square feet and multiple En Suites. These are just a few of the details you can expect when you stay at Sandcastle Village at the Village at Nags Head.

Painted in cool grays with rich black cabinetry and accents, this home has a feeling of classic sophistication. A few unexpected pops of coastal colors provide some unexpected fun. Vaulted ceilings provide an open and airy feel to the giant great room. The living area features a couch with a constructed-in chaise and two wonderfully unique chairs. These items center around the flat screen TV, which invites the group to sit down together for a favorite TV show or movie.

Sliding glass doors off the living area lead to a balcony with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a modest table. The ideal spot for your afternoon sweet tea as you appreciate the vistas over the 12th green of the famed Nags Head Golf Links.

Everyone in the group will be clamoring to claim the pretty kitchen! Dark wood cabinets, granite countertops and a humongous center island with seating for 3 with recessed and dramatic pendant lighting make this every chef's fantasy. Some marvelous meals will no doubt emerge from this amazing space! The family can savor those culinary masterpieces together as a group at the huge wood dining table, with padded seating for 10. Another entrance to the private balcony is just through convenient sliding doors. A clean, sleek King En Suite completes this level. You will adore the indulgent bathroom, with white subway tile shower and double vanities.

There is fun to be had on each level of this cavernous 5-bedroom property! The second level features a dedicated recreation room with a pool table and shuffleboard table. Hours of friendly competition will surely happen here. A deck with two Adirondack chairs also graces this floor. Two King En Suites on this level (one convertible to two twins) offer phenomenal privacy.

The first level of your Sand Castle Village vacation home offers even more fun and excitement with a comfortable den. Don't be surprised if the kids in the group lay claim to this space! A mini-kitchen with full-refrigerator is the ideal spot for all their drinks and snacks. Watch them get comfortable on the couch with a constructed-in chaise lounge and hook up their game consoles (not included with rental) on the TV. The older kids may even post a few vacation pics to make their friends back home jealous. One bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and the other features two double beds. The grown-ups may just get banished upstairs or outside, which might just work just ideally for them.

That's because outside features a private 12x25 inground pool with comfortable sun loungers and a hot tub. Is there a better way to spend a day on the Outer Banks than floating around in the cool, exhilarating water of your own inground pool and working on your tan? We can't think of one! If you simply must dip your toes in the Outer Banks sand, the beach is just .6 miles away.

Strategies for getting the perfect Nags Head vacation property experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Nags Head rental home:

  • To find the best value, try changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Nags Head area visitors guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting the perfect vacation home in Nags Head:

  • Select your vacation week and budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Pier Pressure At SandCastle Nags Head Village, Private Pool, On the Golf Course has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before booking the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what is suitable for your vacation.
  • Visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.

More tips for your visit:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure that damages are not linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. message the property manager immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific stay? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
