--SEA GULL COTTAGE--is located Ocean Front at Mile post 17.5 on the Beach Road in gorgeous South Nags Head.

Ideal for your family or group. Sea Gull has 6 bedrooms and 3 baths and sleeps up to 20 people on three levels.

A golden sandy beach kissed by the Atlantic Ocean is just a short walk on our private wooden walkway.

On The top floor, you will find the Master bedroom with King bed and full bath. You will also be able to access the Screened in porch and Deck with steps leading to your Private Pool and short walk to the Beach.

Your entirely equipped kitchen has additional amenities like a Keurig coffee maker, a Crockpot, Blender, Mixer, Seafood Steamer pot! There is all you need to keep your hungry family happy!

Just threw a passage way just off the kitchen and dining area you will come to the new game room. This is where you will find the pool table and board games.

Off the game room, is a huge covered porch with furnishings for outside dining as well.

The airy living room is equipped with Cozy furnishings and a 65 inch SMART TV with DVD player and cable.
For private viewing, there are Intelligent TV's in each bedroom. (TV's in bedroom's do not have cable. They are only for streaming.)

Savor your Private Swimming Pool. It's a Great place to relax without the Inconvenience of Sand.(Pool opens March 25 and Closes October 31)

Outside is a charcoal grille and a Totally Enclosed Shower.

There is even has a fenced in area for your furry family!

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in South Nags Head, a neighborhood in Nags Head. While the natural beauty of Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Jennette's Pier.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Nags Head vacation home experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Nags Head area. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Look for your local Nags Head area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides have coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Finding the perfect vacation rental:

  • Choose vacation dates and spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. Last minute special/Ocean Front/ Pool, Pool Table/pet friendly has 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is generally available online. If not, reach out to the host before booking the home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or may be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a certain Nags Head attraction you crave, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Have a great stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • During arrival, document any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
