You will find a outstanding blend of traditional and modern with features such as refreshed electronics with flatscreen TVs throughout including the main level parlor, which features a one of kind parquet ceiling pattern. As seen in the photos the ceiling in this warm, comfortable room is not an optical illusion. Each tile has been individually attached to create the unique appearance seen emphasizing the style, character and appeal put forth when this home was originally constructed. Tricks and tips to get the very best rental home experience:

Find your perfect rental:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Nags Head area. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Many property management companies supply Nags Head area travel guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Classic Nags Head oceanfront cottage w\/ pool & hot tub! has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible online. Otherwise, contact the property management company before reserving your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
  • Is your family looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your phone.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Call the property manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
