It is conveniently located between the ocean and the sound with access to a community swimming pool and basketball and tennis courts. Ideal for modest families and couples alike, this cute bungalow is well-equipped and comfortably furnished with fun beach-themed decor, flat screen TVs, Wifi, a fireplace, outdoor shower and much more.
The Old Nags Head Cove Community Pool will be open from late May through early-mid September and guests may access the pool by paying a nominal daily or weekly fee. Guests may also have access to the Old Nags Head Cove boat ramp for a weekly fee. The sound shore near the Barefoot Sisters Cottage is a great place for kids and family pets to play and adults to relax. How to find the best vacation property experience:

When to book a Nags Head rental home & When to go:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Nags Head area. Booking in Fall or Spring is a great way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have offers and deals for local shops and restaurants.

Planning and picking your prefect Nags Head rental home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Charming one level, 3 bedroom home in the heart of Nags Head! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If not, contact the host before reserving the home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or could be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a specific Nags Head destination you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

Considerations for your stay:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Contact the property manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
