Forbes Fever was the home of our beloved owner and founder, Dr. Sarah Forbes.

She constructed a true "Old Nags Head Style", Ocean Front home full of warm juniper wood and nostalgic treasures. Each of these treasures were collected during her travels around the world.
We just added an outside ping pong table!!
PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL for you to savor (Pools on March 25 and Closes October 31)
Forbes Fever offers fabulous Ocean Vistas which can be seen from most of the bedrooms.
You can also appreciate them as your relax on the deck or in the shade of the enormous gazebo.
And as an added Bonus, the sizable master bedroom has its own private deck. Just ideal for watching the moonlight play on the waters surface.
When you arrive, don't worry about dragging suitcases up the steps. The home is equipped with an Elevator! A big help for taking up bags! Located in the car port area. Elevator goes to all floors.
Each bedroom is charmingly decorated. The kids's room is decorated in a Jungle theme. It and has its own Private Bath. There are even stuffed animals to play with!
The living room furnishings is a pet friendly too. All is vinyl or leather.
There is a huge SMART TV with DVD player.
For private viewing, there are SMART TVs in most of the bedrooms.
A entirely equipped kitchen with a Keurig, a Crockpot, Blender, & Seafood Steamer pot, is all you need to keep your hungry family happy. The kitchen extends into a sun room with a bar and additional seating.
Beyond the dining room is another sun room that faces the Ocean.
Savor the evening on your huge front porch.
The laundry room is large and great for storing your additional items. It is equipped with a full sized Washer & Dryer.
For your pet there is a covered chain linked dog run and yard. Just open the door and let them out. You don't even have to go with them because the fence extends past the entry steps!
This home offers our own Private Boardwalk to the Ocean.

We provide an amenities package-starter package for all guest's. It includes the following:
Sheet sets for all beds(WE DO NOT MAKE THE BEDS WITH THE SHEETS. YOUR SHEET SETS WILL COME IN A VACCUMMED SEALED BAG), one towel set that the home sleeps, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, 2 bars of soap per bath, 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, and one travel size bottle of dish soap.

Pet fee is $100 per week per pet + tax.
Or if less than a week, Pet fee is $15 per day per pet + tax.

1. During the summer season, this home has a Sunday check in day. Please enter your request dates accordingly.*
2. PET FEES are NOT PROVIDED in price.
3. College students and anyone 27 or younger considered on a "case by case' basis and will include additional student rate and security deposit. If you are under the age of 27, you must submit an inquiry first. You are not allowed to "Instant Book".
*NO Students Accepted after May 15th.

1. Evacuation Fee (5% of your total) will refund any days missed because of evacuation.
2. Beach Chairs(sitting) & Umbrellas rental.

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in South Nags Head, a neighborhood in Nags Head. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Traveling with kids? Consider Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf and Full Throttle Speedway. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
