About the Area

Located in Nags Head, this vacation home is near the beach. Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse and Wright Brothers National Memorial are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Jennette's Pier and Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf. Full Throttle Speedway and Destination Fun are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.

  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
