Feel oceanfront luxury at its best with a stay at OBX Attitude.
With roughly 6,000 feet of living space, a suite of amenities, and steps-away access to impressive beaches, OBX Attitude will change your perception on how to vacation in style. Boasting 10 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms (6 full / 2 half baths) and a prime location that straddles the busy attractions of Nags Head and the peaceful beaches of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, this Outer Banks rental with an elevator introduces guests to the very best of the Outer Banks lifestyle.

A wealth of outdoor entertainment is waiting in your backyard
Pull up to the concrete driveway and jump right into your vacation by heading straight to the broad outdoor entertainment that's waiting by the beach. OBX Attitude features a 10' x 20' private pool with a separate infant pool that's bordered by a line of deck chairs, an elevated hot tub in a shaded gazebo, and a private walkway that extends all the way to the shoreline. Watch the crashing waves while appreciating a well-deserved soak, settle into the dune-top deck for front row ocean vistas, or just appreciate breezy strolls along the shoreline on a whim. It's all readily available and waiting to be adored.

A ground level that doubles as the headquarters for family fun
The young and the young-at-heart will have a blast in the ground level which features a centrally located full bath and extensive recreation room with a pool table, foosball table, giant Connect Four & Tic-Tac-Toe boards, 2 mounted TVs, and DVD/stereo. Refresh the happy hour beverages at the wet bar with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, a theater-style popcorn machine, dishwasher, stand-alone ice maker and bar, or take a cat nap in one of three bedrooms - a bedroom with 2 bunk beds beds, and two queen bedrooms which share another full bath between them. There's also a convenient half bath on this level for fast breaks from the adjacent pool or beach and a washer and dryer.

Sweet second level where vistas and comfortable sleeping accommodations abound
The second level is home to the majority of OBX Attitude's bedrooms, which feature tons of private space, prime oceanfront vistas, and a host of modern amenities. Guests can retire to one of six bedrooms, including three king bedrooms, a bedroom with a pyramid bunk, a bedroom with a queen bed, or a bedroom with two twins to recuperate after a long day at the beach. There are also three bathrooms including one semi-private bath (queen bedroom), and two Jack and Jill bathrooms (shared between two bedrooms each). Concluding the level is a laundry area with a stackable washer and dryer.

A third level that's designed for oceanfront gatherings
Head to the top level where the best vistas and the expansive great room are waiting. Attractively appointed with an ocean of cozy furnishings, and a flat-screen TV with hook-ups/capabilities for iPod, video game consoles, and Netflix, the central living area is where families can relax with a movie or a little indoor entertainment. A second living area is found close by with a couch and a Blue Ray disc player, convenient to the half bath on this level, as well as a dining area with ample room for enormous events and plenty of front-row vistas. The kitchen is also found on this level and is a gourmet's dream with 2 ovens, a full-sized refrigerator, an ice machine, 2 dishwashers, a microwave, a breakfast sandwich maker, and a shake machine. Guests can also savor a little privacy by stepping up to the top-level crow's nest, or by retreating to the superb king master bedroom with a king bed and private bath featuring a Jacuzzi tub. Arguably the biggest attraction on this level, however, is the sky-high oceanfront vistas, which can be effortlessly appreciated by stepping outside the sliders and enjoying the salty fresh air.

Effortless on-the-water fun with the amenities of a world-class resort
From the two kitchens with top-notch appliances to the shining private pool with an inset infant pool, OBX Attitude was designed to keep families in a perpetual vacation state of mind. Cast your cares to the wind, pull up a beach chair, and relax while being surrounded by a wealth of amenities at this stellar vacation home that epitomizes the definition of a luxury getaway.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect rental experience:

When to reserve a Nags Head rental home & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply Nags Head area travel guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose and book the rightrental home:

  • Select a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. 7005 OBX Attitude*Pool+Baby Pool*Elevator*Game Rm has 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available on booking pages. Otherwise, email the host before booking your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about your furry family members before booking.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
  • To make sure no damages are linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of difficulties.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
