This beautiful 18-hole golf course is visible from the Bypass in Nags Head, and most days, you’ll see numerous folks happily playing golf on the Scottish links-style championship course. Located along the Roanoke Sound just across the road from the ocean, there’s usually a breeze cooling the golfers who frequent this popular year-round course.
The upscale Village at Nags Head subdivision winds around the golf course, so it is nicely situated. Players of all abilities are welcomed, whether by the day or to join as members of the club. Older children are also encouraged to take in a game with the old folks. Golfers favor not just the beautiful coastal views at Nags Head Golf Links, but they find Nag’s Head’s temperate climate most pleasant.
The course, which is centrally located on the Outer Banks, has been featured in “Golf Digest,” “Southern Links,” and “GolfWeek.” Instructional clinics are offered by PGA professionals in the summer, and private lessons are offered year-round. The location also has a practice green, a Cayman driving range and a clubhouse with lockers rooms.
