Honor Sportfishing has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Oregon Inlet North Carolina. Captain Mike Edwards will be your guide, bringing aboard years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Tilefish, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Skipjack Tuna, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
On the day of your trip you're likely to start out trolling a combination of dead bait and artificial lures using heavy or light tackle depending on the targeted species and time of year. We may also bail dolphin (mahi, mahi) or bottom fish for tilefish. Additional tactics like kite fishing and green stick fishing may also be utilized.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks, and drinks.
Your vessel for the day is a 53' Sportfishing with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Honor Sportfishing will make it easy for you to go fishing in Nags Head. So, how about booking that trip?!
